The Federal Government has initiated the disbursement of delayed salaries for civil servants, following technical glitches and discrepancies on the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) platform.

Thousands of civil servants experienced salary withholding for November 2023 due to irregularities on the IPPIS platform.

Sources from the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation had assured on November 4, 2023, that the technical issues would be addressed, allowing affected civil servants to receive their salaries.

Subsequently, after resolving the challenges, civil servants have started receiving credit alerts for their November salaries.

A senior civil servant confirmed the payment, expressing satisfaction with the resolution, while another civil servant, speaking anonymously, also verified the receipt of the long-awaited salaries.
