Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has approved the appointment of 12 new permanent secretaries in the state civil service.
Conveying the Governor’s approval, the Acting Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Ahmed Kasimu Abdullahi, said the appointments were based on their suitability in terms of credentials, experience, hard work, commitment and loyalty as well as their performance at the promotion examinations and interviews.
He said the appointments were also in line with the present administration’s commitment to reinvigorating the civil service and the resolve to ensure that hardworking civil servants attain the peak of their careers before retirement.
The Acting Head of Civil Service gave the names of the new permanent secretaries as: Mohammed Ibrahim Jalo and Adamu Mohammed Kala from Akko LGA.
Others are, Dr. Ibrahim Yakubu from Balanga LGA; Sa’adatu Bome Ishaya – Billiri LGA; Abubakar Adamu – Dukku LGA; Abdulkadir Adamu, Abubakar Babayo Hassan – Gombe LGA and Ahmed Mohammed Yunusa – Gombe LGA.
Also in the list of the new permanent secretaries are: Mohammed Dantata Ndus – Kaltungo LGA; Abubakar Bella M/sidi – Kwami LGA, Shuaibu Ibrahim – Shongom LGA and Mohammed Ismail Hina -Yamaltu Deba LGA.
Alhaji Ahmed Kasimu Abdullahi, the Acting Head of Civil Service, said
all the appointments are with immediate effect.
