Terrorists suspected to be killer Herdsmen attacked St Francis Catholic Church in Owo, the headquarters of Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State killing at least 28 persons.

According to reports, scores of worshippers have died and several others have been left injured following bomb explosion at the church which is situated close to the palace of the Olowo of Owo.

Another source said it was some herdsmen that allegedly attacked the church and killed worshippers.

Meanwhile, video of the attack shared online shower bodies believed to be of church members in a stream of blood.

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, said the command was yet to ascertain the cause the incident.
