Kayode Egbetokun, the acting Inspector General of Police, on Tuesday said he felt like a Tiger inside him ready to chase away all criminals in Nigeria.

He said this with State House Correspondents after he was decorated the acting IGP by Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Egbetokun said now that he had been decorated, he was ready to take over as acting IGP on Wednesday.

He said he could not describe how he felt right now, but said he felt like a Tiger ready to chase away criminals in Nigeria.

Egbetokun also said that at some other time, he felt like a lion ready to devour all the internal enemies of Nigeria.

In his words: “Now I have just been decorated and I am looking forward to taking over tomorrow morning by 11 a.m.

“I really can’t describe how I feel presently, but if I have to tell you anything, I will tell you that right now I feel like a Tiger inside of me ready to chase away all the criminals in Nigeria.

“And some other time, I felt like a lion in me ready to devour all the internal enemies of Nigeria. That’s my feeling right now.”
