Imam Mohammad Tawhidi, a prominent Islamic scholar and outspoken reformist, took to his X account (@Imamofpeace) to react to the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

In a direct statement, Tawhidi declared, “There will be no 72 virgins for Nasrallah. Straight to hell.”

Tawhidi, who has endured physical attacks and was forced to flee Australia due to threats from extremists, expressed relief at the news.

“The death of Nasrallah signifies a profound step towards de-escalation,” Tawhidi said. “Every senior leader in Hezbollah is now in hell. The Middle East is celebrating, and the world emerges as a more just and peaceful place. This is the absolute truth that resonates with the very depths of your conscience.”

Tawhidi’s remarks reflect his ongoing stance against extremist ideologies, underscoring his commitment to peace and justice in the Middle East.
