Labour Party, presidential candidate Peter Obi was welcomed in Imo, by hugged crowd at former Governor of the State, Emeka Ihedioha mother’s burial after court seating in Abuja.

The former governor of Anambra State was in Imo to show support to his friend, Honourable Emeka Ihedioha who laid his mother to rest, and later attended Senator Ken Nnamani late wife burial in Enugu state.

Taking on his verified twitter handle, sincerely commiserate with the entire Ihedioha and Nnamani families over their irreplaceable losses and pray that God Almighty will grant eternal rest to the dead.

He wrote:

Yesterday, after attending the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, in Abuja, accompanied by Alhaji Audie Mohammed, Senator Victor Lar, and Dr. Akin Osuntokun, I travelled to Aboh Mbaise in Imo State for the burial of Dame Dorothy Nsonma Ihedioha, the mother of my friend and brother, His Excellency Emeka Ihedioha. From Imo State, I travelled to Amechi-Uwani Community, Enugu State to commiserate with my dear elder brother Distinguished Senator Ken Nnamani, during the burial of his beloved wife, Lady Jane Amaechi Udewo Nnamani. I thank our legal team at the tribunal for their diligence and hard work.

I sincerely commiserate with the entire Ihedioha and Nnamani families over their irreplaceable losses and pray that God Almighty will grant eternal rest to the dead. -PO
