The Imo New Dawn, a non-partisan political action committee wishes to inform the general public, especially, friends and allies of Imo State, that His Excellency Senator Goodhope Odidika Uzodimma, 64, fair in complexion, but enhanced with expensive cosmetics, speaks Igbo and English language fluently and currently identifies as the executive governor of Imo State, following an unjust judgment by the Supreme Court of Nigeria delivered on the 14th of January, 2020, is missing.

Chief Uzodimma was last seen in Imo State before the 2023 inauguration ceremony of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as President, after which he disappeared without trace. The Imo New Dawn did set up a task force with the mandate to search for him and return him to Imo State, and he was briefly sighted in the State on the 13th of June, 2023. However, since 13th of June, we have only heard about some staged and deceptive appearances in Lagos, while his current whereabouts are currently unknown.

Chief Uzodimma is accused by numerous organizations of overseeing the killing of over 1000 Imolites since his controversial assumption of office in 2020, and following his massive rejection by Imolites. He is also accused of supervising the displacement of thousands of Imolites, unlawful arrest and detention of thousands of youths and destruction of the economic means of our people, to the tune of over 500 Billion Naira. We suspect that Chief Uzodimma is actively conspiring to extend his imposition on Imo people by sneaking in and out of offices in Abuja, including, Aso Rock, where he is always seeking to enamor himself with the President.

We plead especially with the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to please send Chief Uzodimma back to Imo State as quickly as possible, as he is suspected of frittering away our lean resources on his dubious attempts to buy off those closest to the President in order to have unfettered and dangerous access to the presidential villa.

Anyone with relevant information about Chief Uzodimma’s whereabouts is please advised to report to any true Imo son or daughter around him or her, so that we can transport him back to Owerri to continue to enjoy the devastation he has wrought on our people.

Signed,

Mazi Eze Uwagbaka

Acting Publicity Secretary

Imo New Dawn
