I have been inundated with messages about voter registration difficulties in the South East and Lagos.
I contacted INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu and he reassured me that the voter registration will continue and all eligible voters will be registered. He asked for patience and orderliness at busy registration centres. INEC is also increasing capacity at the identified centres, the Chairman assured me.
He also, confirmed to me that there is no requirement to produce residency evidence to be registered.
