The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has been accused of frustrating the South East and South South geopolitical zone on the ongoing registration voter’s card across the country.
NN NEWS learnt that INEC were asking the people of the zones to pay some amount of money before they can register or collect their PVC.
According to report, some INEC offices in the two regions were key and locked as people trump in to register for voters’ card to vote for a credible candidate in upcoming general election in the 2023.
A source who spoke with anonymity wondered why INEC would turn against the people instead of encouraging them to get their PVC and vote for a credible candidate.
The source also call on the south east, south south governors, politicians and stockholders to demand that INEC open their offices and allow them to register for PVC.
