The Kano All Progressives Congress (APC) is exuding confidence in the upcoming Supreme Court judgment, as evidenced by the revamped appearance of its secretariat.

NN News Media gathered that with just 24 hours remaining until the commencement of the Supreme Court hearing in the gubernatorial dispute between Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna of the APC, the party is hopeful of a favorable outcome.

Having secured judgments in its favor from the election petition tribunal and the Appeal Court, the APC aims to solidify its position with a victory at the apex court.

Recent images obtained by journalists reveal a transformed party secretariat along Maiduguri road, now adorned with the portraits of its gubernatorial candidate, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, as well as the National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the state party chairman, Abdullahi Abbas.

A party insider, speaking to Daily Trust, suggested that the revamped appearance is a prelude to celebrating Gawuna’s anticipated victory, contingent upon a favorable ruling from the Supreme Court.

Notably, the secretariat had faced vandalism by unknown hoodlums after Abba Kabir Yusuf was declared the winner of the 2023 gubernatorial election, prompting increased security measures. The recent overhaul signals a renewed effort in repairing and rehabilitating the party’s headquarters.
