Governor Seyi Makinde has urged President Bola Tinubu to focus on productivity and address hunger and anger instead of deceiving and distracting Nigerians on local government autonomy issues.

The Governor of Oyo state stated that the Supreme Court’s decision on local government autonomy is merely a distraction.

Seyi emphasized the need to address the core issues facing Nigeria. Echoing Peter Obi, he said the country lack productivity and there’s serious hunger and anger in the land.

The Supreme Court’s decision prohibits state governors from interfering with local government funds and administration.

While Nigeria faces challenges like hunger and anger, the local government autonomy judgment, Seyi has told Nigerians are not deceived that is a merely distraction.
