Many people have been feared dead and several houses set ablaze in fresh violence that erupted in the Sakai and Kagadama areas of Bauchi Metropolis on Saturday.
According to reports, the violence started over rivalry between youths of angular Taya and Taiwan which extended to other parts of the area.
Security operatives, comprising tactical teams, Mobile Police Force, Rapid Response Squad (RRS) and Quick intervention Unit (QIU) of the Bauchi Police Command have swiftly responded to the distress calls by residents.
