The firm highlights that Nigeria UN Representative Jimoh Ibrahim CFR whose account is JimohIbrahimCFR appeared on Nigerian television and publicly declared that President Tinubu plans to meet President Trump during the upcoming United Nations General Assembly next month.

Von Batten Montague York L C confirms it has already distributed the relevant video footage to senior officials inside the Trump administration. The firm further states it will soon circulate the same material to members of Congress and the State Department.

According to the statement Tinubu and those close to him are working to create the impression among Nigerians and the international community that President Trump accepts or overlooks the drug trafficking allegations.

The firm repeats its earlier position that President Trump maintains a firm stance against drug trafficking. It pledges ongoing briefings to the White House on the unfolding situation. Dr Von Batten has also made clear the intention to personally inform President Trump about the drug trafficking allegations directed at Bola Tinubu.
