Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, has confidently stated that his one-year tenure has seen more infrastructural development than the eight-year term of his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Andoni section of the Ogoni-Andoni-Opobo Unity Road project in Ngo Town, Andoni Local Government Area, Fubara highlighted the achievements of his administration. He asserted that his government has outperformed those who were in power for eight years, and he welcomes any challenge to this claim.

Fubara, who assumed office about a year ago, expressed his satisfaction with the progress made within the first few months. He reiterated his commitment to implementing more infrastructural projects in the future.

It’s worth noting that Fubara and the Federal Capital Territory Minister have been in a dispute since Fubara took office. Earlier this week, the governor claimed victory over his political adversaries, stating that they are now living in a state of constant vigilance and unease.
