The Obidient movement, supporters of Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, have expressed their intent to partake in the forthcoming National convention. Their goal is to influence the election of the party’s new chairman.

NN News Media recently spotted a social media flyer featuring the top four contenders in the race. However, the Labour Party has yet to officially announce the convention’s date.

The leading candidates, primarily from the North and Middle Belt regions, include Ibrahim H. Abdulkarim, Isaac Balami, Senator Victor Lar, and Yanusu Tanko. They are set to succeed Barrister Julius Abure, whose term is nearing its conclusion.
