The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has set its sights on clinching victory in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations as a tribute to President Bola Tinubu. Speaking through its president, Ibrahim Gusau, the NFF attributes the Super Eagles’ qualification for the semi-finals to Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda.”

Recalling the lead-up to a crucial game, it’s noted that Tinubu addressed the players via a video conference, urging them to believe in themselves and assuring them of his unwavering support. Gusau reiterated Tinubu’s message, emphasizing the players’ dedication to their task.

Expressing confidence in their endeavor, Gusau mentioned the unprecedented reward Tinubu has promised the team in the event of victory, highlighting the historical significance of such recognition in Nigerian sports.

With just two matches remaining in the tournament, Gusau reaffirmed the NFF’s commitment to their mission, calling upon all Nigerians to support them through prayers. He emphasized the importance of prayer in their journey towards success.

The NFF’s determination to secure the Africa Cup of Nations title not only reflects their ambition as a team but also serves as a testament to the support and belief instilled by President Tinubu.
