The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has won the election in the Federal Capital Territory.
Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, defeated the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, and the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.
Obi polled a total votes of 281,717 to win all the six area councils in the FCT.
Tinubu scored 90,902 and Atiku had a total of 74,199.
The PUNCH reported that Obi polled a total of 575,735 votes to win Lagos while Tinubu garnered a total of 573,001 votes.
Atiku Abubakar had a total of 75,750 votes while the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, had a total of 8,8442 votes. (PUNCH)
