The Northern Comrades Movement of Nigeria (NCMN) has expressed its admiration for the visionary efforts of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in empowering over one million youth and women, and implementing borehole projects across the Northern region.

The NCMN, led by Mal. Jabir Ibrahim Yaro, commends Obi’s unwavering commitment to improving the lives of citizens and fostering sustainable development in the region.

The provision of boreholes in vulnerable communities is a crucial step towards addressing the challenges of water scarcity in the North. Access to clean and safe drinking water is essential for improving health outcomes and enhancing the overall quality of life.

However, the NCMN has criticized certain groups for politicizing and undermining these significant developmental strides being undertaken in the North by Peter Obi. Instead of acknowledging the need for infrastructure development, economic empowerment, and social upliftment in these areas, these groups have resorted to baseless criticisms and obstructionist tactics.

Contrary to misleading narratives, the NCMN emphasizes that Obi’s projects aim to address longstanding disparities, promote inclusivity, and foster overall progress in the region. The NCMN stands resolute in supporting Obi’s efforts to uplift the Northern region and condemns any attempts to derail these critical initiatives.
