The Labour Party has stated that it is in the interest of the Presidential candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso to become running mate to Peter Obi .
Kwankwaso had offered Peter Obi of Labour Party to be his running mate.
But, Labour Party in his reaction through his Twitter handle said that it is in the interest of former governor of Kano state to be running mate to Peter Obi.
Labour Party said, “The truth of the matter is that it is in the interest of Kwankwaso to take the Vice Presidency.
Peter Obi is the man of the moment, He has the credentials and he is the most popular presidential candidate as we speak today.”
