As Nigeria and the world steps into the year 2025, the leadership of the Obidient Movement has pledged to ramp up its efforts to prepare for the 2027 general elections.

In a New Year message, the National Coordinator of the movement, Dr. Tanko Yunusa, emphasized that the group stands on the threshold of 2025 with beacons of hope and determination to face any opposition.

Dr. Yunusa stated that the Obidient Movement globally is taking advantage of this year to reinforce its principles and continuously mobilize for their mandate. “We have two years to the general elections; from our community outreaches, town hall meetings, ward-to-ward sensitization, and rural and urban mobilization, our victory must be assured,” he said.

He urged members to remain patriotic and advocate for good governance for the progress and development of Nigeria. The group acknowledged the contributions made by stakeholders and stressed that the New Year will mark the beginning of its planned activities and actions, which will be published accordingly.

“We assure you that everyone is essential and will be engaged in the process, especially if your efforts are geared toward building a new Nigeria, transitioning from consumption to production,” Dr. Yunusa added.

In conclusion, Dr. Yunusa wished everyone joy, good health, prosperity, and countless opportunities to grow and thrive in 2025. He emphasized the importance of unity and determination in rebuilding Nigeria and highlighted the group’s commitment to upholding the great virtues of the nation.

The Obidient Movement also recognized the challenges faced in 2024, including high levels of insecurity, economic downturn, epileptic power supply, hyperinflation, poverty, and a poor health sector. Despite these difficulties, the group remains optimistic about the future and is determined to create a prosperous and inclusive Nigeria.Message Copilot
