The apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has bestowed the title of ‘Grade A’ Governor of the South East geo-political zone upon Governor Alex Otti of Abia State.

Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, announced this prestigious recognition during a visit with a delegation of Ohanaeze leadership to Governor Otti’s office. Chief Iwuanyanwu emphasized the undeniable achievements of Otti’s administration, as reported by Ohanaeze field officers, which he described as impressive and indisputable.

“I have received glowing reports from our field officers regarding the performance of His Excellency Alex Otti, the Governor of Abia State. After thorough confirmation, I am pleased to classify him as ‘A’ in our assessment. On behalf of Igbos worldwide, I extend my heartfelt congratulations,” Chief Iwuanyanwu stated.

Expressing his satisfaction with Otti’s legendary achievements, Chief Iwuanyanwu urged the Governor to maintain this trajectory for the benefit of the Igbo people. He also highlighted the abundant natural resources in Igbo land, urging Igbo investors to capitalize on these resources for economic development.

Governor Otti, in response, expressed gratitude for the endorsement, stating that it would serve as motivation to accomplish even more for the people of Abia State. Recognizing the economic challenges facing the Igbo community, Otti reiterated his commitment to addressing issues such as access to roads and attracting investments to the state.

Furthermore, Otti emphasized his vision to transform Abia into a leading state in various sectors, citing ongoing efforts to attract investors and tackle infrastructural deficits. He pledged his full support to Ohanaeze Ndigbo and commended Chief Iwuanyanwu for his service to the Igbo community.

The delegation from Ohanaeze Ndigbo, comprised of other key members of the leadership, reiterated their commitment to advancing the interests of the Igbo people under Chief Iwuanyanwu’s leadership.
