The President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Senator John Azuta-Mbata, has applauded the Akiko Uwa Social Cultural Group for the successful hosting of the Igbanke Unity Festival, held under the theme “Igbanke Nor be Bini.”
In a personally signed statement, Azuta-Mbata praised the Igbanke community, located in Edo State, for boldly affirming their Igbo heritage and embracing their cultural roots.

Azuta-Mbata emphasized that the Igbanke community’s commitment to cultural pride and unity stands as an inspiration to other Igbo groups across the nation.
He further pledged Ohanaeze Ndigbo’s full collaboration with the people of Igbanke in cultural and developmental initiatives.
“Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide will stand with you and incorporate Igbanke in all our activities,” he affirmed. “Igbo bu ofu—Igbo are one. United, we will reach greater heights.”
