Pastor E.A. Adeboye, founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has called on Nigerians to refrain from blaming their leaders and politicians for the country’s ongoing challenges, emphasizing that the issues are spiritual in nature.

During a recent visit to Kaduna, Adeboye emphasized that while political leaders are making efforts to address Nigeria’s problems, the solutions require divine intervention

In the past, Pastor Adeboye actively spoke out during former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration, even leading a mass protest that labeled the government as a failed state under his leadership. However, since President Bola Tinubu’s rise to power, who hails from the same tribe as Adeboye, the pastor has yet to publicly criticize his government.

Speaking on Nigeria’s struggles, Adeboye highlighted that while the nation’s leaders are trying their best, the core problems facing the country are not merely political. “Nigeria’s challenges go beyond politics,” he said. “We need a spiritual solution.”

As tensions and political unrest continue to grow, Pastor Adeboye’s message urges citizens to turn to prayer and spiritual reflection, focusing on divine intervention rather than solely holding political figures accountable for the nation’s struggles.
