Peter Obi, Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, has joined Obidient and Nigerians to celebrate Isaac Balami, the former President of National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers and the Deputy National Campaign Manager, Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council to wish him a very happy birthday.

The former Anambra State Governor via his verified X account said, I would like to join your numerous friends and admirers in wishing you a happy birthday anniversary. You remain one of the young promising Nigerians that strengthen my hope for a new and better Nigeria that I strongly believe is POssible.

The Colloquium being organized as part of your birthday ceremony is also an interesting dimension to the ceremony by somebody who cherishes and welcomes divergent ideas. The Colloquium is something I would have personally loved to attend, but for some unavoidable circumstances to underscore its importance, I sent our versatile Hajia @AishaYesufu to represent me. Once again, I wish you many more blissful and fruitful years ahead. Happy Birthday and God bless. -PO

Balami who supported former President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 and 2019, joined Labour Party to push for a new Nigeria.

The former spokesperson of the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers had said he was leaving the APC and joining the Obi-Datti movement because he shares in the pains of Nigerians, especially the Christians over the inequality and injustice they have witnessed under the APC-led government.
