Labour Party’s 2023 Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi, pens a heartfelt tribute!

Following my diplomatic commitments in Kenya, I touched down in Enugu State today. My purpose was to offer my final respects to the departed Nollywood icon, John Obumneme Odonwodo, fondly known as Junior Pope. His hometown, Ukehe, was filled with a somber atmosphere as I extended my deepest condolences to his bereaved family.

Our sympathies also extend to his comrades in the Nollywood fraternity.

We implore the divine to provide solace to his kin and give them, along with all those grieving his departure, the strength to endure this tragic and irreplaceable loss. We pray for his soul to find perpetual peace in the heavenly abode.

Farewell, Junior Pope.
