Nigerian presidential hopeful Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP, said that the collapsed of national power grid for the 6th times has become alarming that have left many Nigerians in darkness.
The presidential hopeful made this known via his verified twitter handle on Thursday, calling on the government to live up to its statutory responsibilities to avert socio-economic incidents that induce extreme shock and stress on the national population.
Obi also decried the cost of bread across the country saying it has become a national crisis on the average Nigerian.
Nigeria’s national power grid had collapsed according to the Eko Electricity Distribution Company confirmed this at about 11:27 am Wednesday.
The collapse of the national power grid makes it the sixth time this year.

Reports that the national power grid has collapsed for the 6th time in 7 months is alarming. Once again, many Nigerians have been left grope around in darkness without electricity.
Also, for bread, one of the basic and affordable daily sustenance of the average Nigerian to become unavailable translates to a national crisis.
