During a recent Ijaw community protest addressing the political crisis between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and incumbent FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, Boma Goodhead, the representative of Asari-Toru Federal Constituency, Rivers State, alleged that Wike is involved in the assassination of a Divisional Police Officer and has embezzled $300 million earmarked for Ogoniland’s development. Goodhead challenges Wike to face investigation, insisting that despite his boasts of influence, Rivers State remains beyond his control.
Goodhead said Wike often boasts about having the presidency, judiciary, Federal Government, Chief of Staff, and security agencies in his pocket; however, Rivers State cannot be in his pocket.
She further alleges Wike’s involvement in orchestrating the killing of a Divisional Police Officer, Bako Angbashim, in Ahoada East local government area.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain called on security agencies to investigate Wike and bring him in for questioning over alleged involvement in Angbashim’s death.
The PDP chieftain warns against disturbing the state’s peace and vows to confront Wike during his visits.
