Jibrin Falgore, a member, representing the Rogo constituency, under the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), on Tuesday, emerged as Speaker of the 10th Kano State House of Assembly.

Falgore who was nominated by a member representing Dala Constituency, Lawal Hussaini, (NNPP), and Musa Kachako (APC), a member representing Takai Constituency was subsequently endorsed by the 40-man Assembly

Muhammad Butu-Butu (NNPP), Tofa/Dawakin Tofa constituency was elected as Deputy Speaker by the House respectively.
