Nigerian Senators have declared their intention to donate their December salaries to the victims of an accidental bombing in Tudun Biri, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Senator Barau Jibrin, the Deputy Senate President, made the announcement during a visit to Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State.

The donation, totaling N109 million from all 109 Senators in the 10th National Assembly, aims to support those affected by the accidental bombing.

Earlier, members of the Northern Senators Forum (NSF), led by Senators Abdul Ningi and Abdulaziz Yari, visited the victims of the military airstrike.

Senator Ningi announced a separate donation of N58 million on behalf of the NSF, emphasizing their commitment to aiding constituents in challenging times.

Senator Yari, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Water Resources, expressed sympathy for the victims, acknowledging the significant suffering caused by the event. He urged authorities to take measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
