Former radio Biafra anchorman and wanted Finland based terrorist, Simon Ekpa, has been released by the Finnish police after hours of interrogation.

Finnish police arrested the Ebonyi born criminal agitator over his nefarious activities in the South-East region of Nigeria which has resulted to the unfortunate death of innocent civilians.

Ekpa according to HS report was released by the Finnish Central Criminal Police.

The police claimed that its operation and subsequent arrest were in connection with the ongoing preliminary investigation.

“The person being questioned today is suspected of a crime. We will return to the title on Friday,” Tommi Reen from the Central Criminal Police told HS during a phone interview.

Meanwhile, the commander of Biafra Nations League (BNL), Prince Richard, who is also an ally of Ekpa, also told News Band Newspaper during a phone conversation that the self-styled autopilot leader has been released from the police custody.
