There are six governors that have used or are currently using Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing (IVM) Limited locally manufactured in Nigeria.

The first was the former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, who encouraged the Chairman, Managing Director of Innoson Motors, Chief Innocent Chukwuma Ifediaso, to greater heights.

Chief Ifediaso, in August 26, 2022, revealed that former governor of Anambra State played a major role in him starting a car manufacturing business, adding that Obi inspired him to manufacture SUVs and Pick-ups.

Peter Obi reportedly purchased 300 vehicles from Innoson motors for security and made upfront payments to the company.

The next was Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State.

His successor, Governor Francis Nwifuru, has also joined the league of Innoson patronisers:

Then comes Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the Executive Governor of Anambra State.

Governor Soludo put into use the made-in-Nigeria car by Innoson vehicles, a G80 SUV, as his official car. He unveiled it during his inauguration/swearing-in on 17th March, 2022.

Dr. Alex Otti was sworn in as the 5th democratically elected Governor of Abia State on Monday, May 29th, 2023. He immediately joined the league of governor who use Innoson Vehicles as official vehicle during his swearing-in parade.

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya was sworn in for his second term as the Governor Gombe State. Governor Inuwa is the 3rd Nigerian Governor to use Innoson Vehicles (IVM) as his official vehicle as he used it for his parade during his swearing in.

In the meantime, the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has purchased over one hundred Innoson Vehicles security trucks to improve security in the state and support Nigerian made products to grow the economy.

Governor Fintiri said the purchase was to boost security and operations in the State, noting that he has constantly supported local patronage by patronizing Innoson Vehicles.

He assured that he will continue to partner with Innoson on the good work he is doing.
