Dr. Akin Akinpelu, author of ‘From The Street to Forbes’, has announced that he will be embarking on a ‘Street To Forbes’ campus tour of 10 prominent Nigerian universities and four renowned African institutions. The tour, which starts on April 13, aims to impact 200,000 African undergraduates by providing a platform for them to be inspired by his success story and reach new heights of success.

Speaking at a briefing, Akinpelu said the tour is an expression of his commitment to empowering African children to realize their full potential. The core goal is to empower, encourage, and inspire African children to reach their full potential.

The theme of the tour, ‘Street to Forbes’, is a call to action and a motto for participants to overcome challenges with unyielding determination. Akinpelu and his team aim to provide participants with the skills, information, and attitude needed to seize opportunities through carefully chosen courses, interactive sessions, and emotional discussions.

Akinpelu is committed to providing mentorship, direction, and support to every student they come across throughout the journey, drawing from his experiences as a member of the Forbes Coach Council and a catalyst for change.

Dr. Dare Akinlaja, CEO of Oludare Akinlaja Research and Development Company (OARD), emphasized the need to sharpen the minds of the youths to greatness, stating, “If we do nothing about this generation there will be chaos.” He called on Africans to do more in documenting their stories and for stakeholders to support the initiative by putting their money where their mouths are.

Favour Noah Afeoluwape, publisher of ‘From The Street to Forbes’, shared how she implemented what she read in the book with regards to relationships and networking, stating that the lessons in the book are not just for students but for many to learn from.

Miss Oluwaseyifunmi Aderemi, a student representing Bells University, expressed the students’ eagerness to receive Akinpelu and his team during the tour. The ‘Street To Forbes’ campus tour aims to empower and inspire African undergraduates to reach their full potential and overcome challenges with unyielding determination.
