A Washington policy advisory firm said Friday that renewed allegations had emerged against Nigerian President Bola Tinubu after Dr. Von Batten briefed members of Congress and senior state government officials during the Republican National Midterm Convention.
The firm announced the briefing in a statement posted Friday, by Dr. Von Batten brief covered FBI and DEA allegations that Nigerian President belonged to a criminal organization that smuggled heroin from Nigeria into the United States during the 1980s and 1990s.
Virginia lawmakers and Indiana state officials were briefed because court records show the Tinubu group moved poison into Chicago and Indiana. The firm said Tinubu allegedly moved the drug proceeds through several banks including banks in Virginia.
Those named in the statement include Virginia Representative John McGuire and Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales.
