Peter Obi will not float the Naira for the Dollars you don’t have. He said and I quote, “I will devalue to N600, & defend it.” He’ll embark on phased removal of subsidy.

Before any of that, he would have put the savings in education, healthcare & SMEs.

He would have drastically cut down the Cost of Governance; the Obi we know would have visited all the states in Nigeria, to meet Nigerians and hear directly from them. He’ll hardly ever speak through third parties and surrogates, there’ll be no smelling body language interpretations.

Peter Obi will not allow the dollar to crash to N1,160 in just 4 months. He won’t lavish over $500,000 in New York hotels. He said and I quote, “if I sleep in a N250,000/night hotel, I will feel like I was robbed!”

He won’t appoint 48 cabinet ministers, and almost a 100 spokespersons and media aides. Peter Obi will not make political appointments every market day.

There will be no knees jerk pronouncements and last-minute withdrawal of appointments, clues to incompetence, nepotism, and impulsive governance, a deluge of errors.

Many of us that campaigned for him are capable, highly educated, experienced; the finest of Nigeria too but we can get better!

But we will distance ourselves from Aso Rock and give the man a breathing space. He will only appoint those world-class administrators he met during his diaspora tour, in and out of Naija, that is what the Obidients would want! We trust him in that. None of us are here for patronage, we do all of these FOR THE GLORY OF NIGERIA!

We will critique the man from day one. You won’t see any of us agitating for food, political appointments, and rewards. A Peter Obi’s government will usher in morality, probity, ethical leadership, and ethical governance. A sharp departure from the status quo.

That man will not endorse the purchase of 360 brand new SUVs worth a N160 million each, for our overfed lawmakers. Do not allow anyone to make excuses for BAT. Do not allow anyone to gaslight you.

Making excuses for a so-called “Master Strategist” barely and months into his administration, is a mental disorder. There is no coming back from this deliberate, unconscionable, and incompetent destruction of the Naira. PERIOD!!
