Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in a statement has questioned the motives of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, accusing them of desperate attempts to sack President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Morka criticized their potential political maneuvers as opportunistic and lacking genuine commitment to Nigeria’s development, highlighting their inability to maintain loyalty to their respective parties.

The APC urged Nigerians to continue supporting Tinubu’s transformative leadership and policies for national growth and stability.

The ambiguity lies in whether Obi will return to Atiku’s PDP, whether Atiku will leave his PDP for a fresh start in Obi’s Labour Party, or if both will leave their respective parties to venture into the uncharted territory of Professor Pat Utomi’s emerging mega party.

The possibility of Peter Obi rejoining the PDP wouldn’t be a shock, given his history of political nomadism, a trait only surpassed by Atiku’s reputation as a seasoned political journeyman. Similarly, Atiku’s potential move to the Labour Party wouldn’t surprise anyone, as it aligns with his well-known status as Nigeria’s most peripatetic politician. As for Utomi’s mega party, it remains an elusive prospect with no concrete offerings for either man.

Atiku and Obi are bound by their shared aspiration to become Nigeria’s President and their shared disregard for President Bola Tinubu’s unwavering dedication to national transformation. Their constant search for suitable party platforms to launch their presidential campaigns reveals the self-serving and opportunistic nature of their ambitions. Individuals who lack the resolve to build or repair their own parties and who abandon ship at the first sign of internal strife cannot be entrusted with addressing the serious and intricate political and economic issues facing our nation.

President Bola Tinubu exemplifies the qualities of character, vision, perseverance, and determination necessary to usher in a revitalized Nigeria characterized by stable growth and development. The administration’s audacious economic policy reforms and substantial infrastructure investments have already broken down historical growth barriers, paving the way for consistent progress and development.

We call on Nigerians to continue their invaluable support for our great Party and President Bola Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to building a stronger, safer, and more prosperous nation for all.
