Suspected members of Boko Haram sect have reportedly attacked mobile police training school in limankara, Gwoza local government area of Borno State and kidnapped yet to be identified number of police officers.

Limankara is the hometown of Senator Ali Ndume, the Chairman Senate Committee on Army.

According to reports, the terrorists attacked the training school which is located 25  kilometers from Gwoza town around 8:22pm on Thursday January 13.

Eye witnesses confirmed that the insurgents stormed the police college with gun trucks and opened fire sporadically into the air before abducting the mobile police instructors.

This is coming seven days after the deadly group attempted to infiltrate the Nigerian Army base in Gwoza but were successfully repelled by men of the Nigerian army.

However, Borno state police command is yet to react to the attack.
