National youth leader and a presidential aspirant of Labour party, Comr. Eragbe Anslem, has withdrawn from the party’s convention primary election slated in Asaba, endorsing Peter Obi as his preferred choice.

Mr. Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State, is among the presidential aspirants who obtained and submitted the party’s presidential nomination form.

NN News gathered that Peter Obi will be facing Pat Utomi today in Asaba Delta state for the emergence of the party’s flag bearer in the 2023 general election.

However, Labour Party confirmed the development on it official Twitter page, @official_LPN on Monday Morning, wrote;

In the run-up to today’s @official_LPN convention in Delta State, National youth leader, Comr. Eragbe Anslem has withdrawn from the race and declare support for @PeterObi. Pat Utomi and @PeterObi will vie to be the Candidate of the party ahead of the 2023 Presidential election.
