The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi has said that he will solve Nigeria’s power problem in 5 years if elected into office in 2023.

Peter Obi said this while being interviewed by ace journalist, Rufia Oseni, on Voice of the People FM in Lagos.

Mr. Obi, who just returned from a 3-day visit to Egypt to understudy the Egyptian power sector, said his trip was fundamental to understanding how the Egyptian government improved on their power generation and implement same in Nigeria if elected.

Peter Obi also said that if elected, he will remove petroleum subsidy, calling it a fraud. See the interview in full below.
