The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has urged Nigerians to not give up despite the plethora of challenges facing the country.

This comes on the heels of the latest victories recorded by Nigeria’s boxing champions; Anthony Joshua and Israel Adesanya.

While congratulating the duo, the LP presidential candidate said “both champions persevered in their efforts and bounced back to reclaim their crowns- that is the true Nigerian spirit”.

He disclosed this in a statement on Monday.

“It has been dark for so long, but Nigeria’s morning will surely come if we do not give up. And like our boxing champions, we shall lift our hands in victory,” he added. (Nigerian Tribune)
