An 8 storey building located inside the luxurious Banana Island in Lagos State has collapsed.
According to media reports, the building is Joe Faraday’s site with ongoing construction works inside it.
Though, while it is unclear what caused the collapse, concreting was ongoing on at the sixth floor before the unfortunate collapse, News Band Newspaper gathered.
Meanwhile, a statement by NEMA said workers are trapped in the building and its officials are mobilising the response team to rescue the trapped victims.
