INEC had on Tuesday declared Gov Fintiri of the PDP as winner of the Adamawa State supplementary election on April 15, having polled 430,861 votes to defeat Aisha Binani of the APC who polled 398,788.

The commission disclosed this on Wednesday in a tweet on its verified Tweeter handle.

“Following the conclusion of supplementary elections nationwide and the declaration of winners, the Commission will present certificates of return to the Adamawa State Governor and Deputy Governor-elect at 3.00p.m. today (Wednesday).

“Similarly, members of the National Assembly-elect (Senators and House of Representatives) will receive their certificates from 11.00a.m. today.”

The commission advised members of  the State House of Assembly-elect to contact its Adamawa state office for their certificates of return. (NAN)
