Residents of Kidandan in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State have reportedly evacuated their ancestral homes due to increased aggression from bandits.

The bandits, who had been causing terror in the community, intensified their activities after farmers failed to pay levies imposed on them, NN News Media learnt.

The recent raid resulted in tragic deaths and numerous abductions, prompting many locals to flee.

The Kaduna State Police Force has not yet responded to the attack.

This incident follows a recent bombing in Tudun Biri village, where an Army Unmanned Aerial Vehicle caused casualties.

The continuous threat has instilled fear in Kidandan, with residents expressing dissatisfaction over the lack of consistent security presence in the area, allowing bandits to operate freely during security lapses.
