Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation, expressed her honor at being included in the prestigious Forbes 2023 list of the 100 Most Powerful Women in the World.

Released on December 5, 2023, the list considered four key metrics: money, media, impact, and spheres of influence, showcasing accomplished women across diverse fields such as politics, business, technology, media, and entertainment.

Okonjo-Iweala, positioned at number 87, shared her joy in a social media post, acknowledging her seventh appearance on the list since 2011.

She extended congratulations to fellow listee Mo Abudu and commended all women making a positive impact globally, whether recognized on the list or not.
