Prof. Pat Utomi, a renowned political economist discussed Nigeria’s economic situation, corruption, and his plans for a new political party.

In an interview with the PUNCH, Utomi emphasized the need for a genuine political party focused on solving societal problems rather than personal interests.

He clarified that the aim is not a merger but to build a party with a different structure and values.

He said that the current distressing situation faced by Nigerians need for serious discussions on issues affecting people’s lives rather than political propaganda.
