The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has issued a statement through its official channel.

The organization is making a formal request for information from Senator David Umahi.

The request seeks immediate disclosure of whether an environmental and social impact assessment was conducted for the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway Project.

SERAP is also asking for the publication of the report from any such assessment, including the specific dates and locations where the assessment was carried out.

The organization has expressed its readiness to pursue legal action if the requested information is not promptly provided.
