Labour Party Chieftain Ibrahim H. Abdulkarim shared a heartfelt statement on X regarding former presidential candidate Peter Obi’s recent visit to Kawo Almajiri School.

Today, we had the privilege of welcoming His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi for a follow-up visit to Kawo Almajiri School. Just four months ago, Mr. Obi generously donated 10 million naira to support educational initiatives at the school.

During his visit, Mr. Obi expressed his delight at witnessing the remarkable progress achieved with the donation. The school has effectively utilized the funds to install two boreholes, construct modern toilet facilities, and renovate classroom spaces, significantly enhancing the learning environment for the students.

In recognition of this impressive development, Mr. Obi pledged an additional 5 million naira to further improve the school’s facilities. His poignant message resonated with all: “No child should be denied proper education.”

This visit held particular significance, as Mr. Obi traveled from Abuja to express condolences to former Governor Senator Ahmed Makarfi, who tragically lost his first child, Faisal, in a car accident along the Kaduna-Zaria Road.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Obi for taking the time out of his busy schedule to visit Kawo Almajiri School. Together, we can continue to strive for better education for all children, regardless of tribe, region, or religion.

A New Nigeria is Possible!
