John Nwosu, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate in Anambra State, was among several prominent figures who gathered to honour the memory of the late Justice Emmanuel Umegbolu at a dignified funeral service.

The event, marked by a deep sense of unity and reflection, was attended by the National Chairman of the ADC, Senator David Mark; former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party Presidential candidate, His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi; Nwosu’s running mate, Sir Ndubisi Nwobu; and other respected dignitaries from the legal, political, and civic spheres.

In his statement, Nwosu highlighted the profound impact of Justice Umegbolu’s life and work, describing the late jurist as a beacon of integrity and wisdom whose judicial legacy continues to shape Nigeria’s legal and democratic values.

“The collective presence of these distinguished leaders at the funeral was more than symbolic it was a powerful moment of national reverence. Justice Umegbolu’s contributions to justice and governance will not be forgotten,” Nwosu said.

The funeral service served not only as a farewell to a revered judge but also as a reminder of the values of justice, service, and unity that he represented throughout his life.
