In a reassuring statement during the Christmas service, the President of the Nigerian Senate, Godswill Akpabio, declared that Nigeria is safe and secure under the capable leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Akpabio urged Nigerians to continue praying for the President, emphasizing the importance of divine wisdom in navigating the country’s affairs.

Addressing the congregation at the Methodist Cathedral of Unity in Abuja, Akpabio expressed the commitment of the National Assembly to support President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He assured the nation that, with Tinubu at the helm, Nigeria is in capable hands and will emerge stronger, providing its citizens with the dividends of democracy.

During the Christmas service, the Methodist Archbishop of Abuja, Most Reverend Michael Akinwale, reinforced the message of hope, asserting that transformative change was on the horizon for Nigeria. Akinwale highlighted the significance of Jesus Christ’s birth in reigniting hope and encouraged Nigerians to foster love and unity while maintaining faith that prevailing economic challenges will soon be overcome.

The service also saw heartfelt prayers dedicated to leaders at all levels, seeking divine intervention to address the country’s economic predicaments. The collective hope is that through prayer, commitment, and unity, Nigeria will experience positive transformations and emerge stronger than ever.
