The social media landscape is currently ablaze as supporters of President Bola Tinubu, known as Yoruba Ronu or Agbado, express their dismay over the hashtag #TinubuLagosSchoolSeries to exposed deplorable condition of schools in Lagos.

One of them identify as Otunba on X handle was asking them to focus on former aide to president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokeri, his People’s Democratic Party PDP, and leave Tinubu’s alone.

This hashtag, initiated by Obidients, aims to expose Tinubu by highlighting the poor state of Lagos schools during his tenure as governor.

In a twist of events, a user named Yemi from Lagos responded to Otunba, stating, “I’m Yoruba and #TinubuLagosSchoolSeries is not about Yoruba, but about holding the Agbadorian messiah accountable.”

The hashtag #TinubuLagosSchoolSeries was started by a user identified as Harry. It has drawn significant attention to the deteriorating condition of schools built in Lagos State, both before and during the tenure of Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Governor.

This online campaign was triggered by a debate initiated by Reno Omokiri. He claimed that Peter Obi, the former Governor of Anambra State and the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, neglected to build new schools, choosing instead to focus on renovations during his term. This assertion has stirred up concerns about the state of educational infrastructure in Lagos State, leading to the trending hashtag #TinubuLagosSchoolSeries.
