Valentine Obienyem, media adviser to the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has dismissed the viral report that says his principal and his vice, Yussuf Datti will be on CNN for a special interview.

According to the viral report, the duo are expected be on CNN on the 13th of August 2022.

However, in a statement by Valentine which a copy was made available to Newsband, described the report as fake.

Valentine in the statement said no discussion has, or is being planned to be opened on the subject matter for now.

He urged the general public to ignore the report.

The statement reads, “The above mentioned news, which says that Christiana Amanpour would play host to Mr. Peter Obi and his Deputy, Dr. Datti Ahmed on CNN on the 13th of August, 2022 as being circulated on some social media platforms is not true. No discussion has, or is being planned to be opened on that subject matter for now.”
